My second chilbo class involved learning how to work with millefiori glass. It is an Italian word that means a thousand flowers. It involves working with canes of glass and making very complicated patterns. The glass is then cut into slices and we were working with theses slices of millefiori. The picture above has mine piece on the left and my teacher's piece on the right before firing.
