Kids Just Wanna Have Fun

When your backyard consists of concrete and asphalt, it's was hard for me to imagine where kids would play. I thought you needed a yard or at least a patch of green grass but I was wrong. The kids across the street from us found a few places to cop a squat and have fun. This is the view from my 10th floor window.

A little closer view.

An even closer view.

We even find kids playing on the roof of a building across the street from our apartment. Maybe that is why the roof is painted green. It was fun to watch.

I just wanted to tell you how much I have enjoyed your blog. My husband and I will be moving to Seoul in January and your blog has me excited about the adventure! I do have a question for you--Do you have a hard time finding any of your favorite art supplies? I like to do oil paintings and other crafts and I am not sure if I need to bring a huge supply of materials or not.

Stumbled upon your blog the other day while looking for links to "maedeup". I am really enjoying reading it. Love looking at your maedeup projects. Just gorgeous!!

I'm the mother of two children adopted from S. Korea and am trying to learn about the culture. My daughter was born in Suwon, my son in Taegu City. I, too, am addicted to KDramas. If you have time, watch the KMovie "A Moment to Remember" on mysoju.com. Have kleenex ready!!

Had an email today from Korea.net about free cultural experience next Saturday. You can learn about it here: http://www.korea.net/news/news/newsview.asp?serial_no=20081118012 Wish I was in Seoul to enjoy it.
