My Maedeup Book!

My Korean maedeup book is scheduled to be out in August, 2009. You can preorder it at Amazon. I was also honored to have the Queen of Crafts, Carol Duvall write the foreword for the book. It includes 10 maedeup knots with detailed instructions along with 30 jewelry projects.

This book would have never been possible without my move to South Korea and the good friends I have made here. This book will introduce the world to the talent of South Korea. I just wish I didn't have to wait so long for its release.

Both my kids were born in Korea so every year for Christmas I try to get something that reperesents Korea for their teachers. After reading your blog and seeing your maedeup projects I thought it would be a cool idea to buy korean christmas ornaments hanging on Maedeup. Have you giving any thought about making ornaments hanging on Maedeup. The ones I purchased are a little korean boy and a little Korean girl made of ceramic wearing the traditional Korean Hanboks hanging on a Maedeup rope.

Congratulations Becky! I have been so jealous that you have been able to take classes here - it is definitely something I think I would enjoy. I was going to place an order with Amazon this week for some Christmas gifts and your book will definitely be one of the gifts....for me!

I just saw your blog... I'm currently living in South Korea and love making jewelry and crafts. I find it hard to get supplies that I like here. After reading your blog, I'm even more inspired than before. Thank you!!
