It's Time to Eat!

At our local Home Plus you can also get a delicious meal as well as do other shopping. Located at the front of the ground level of the store is a bunch of cases containing plastic food samples. You order by the number so Curt (hubby) is always practicing his Korean especially if we order a 23.

The prices are incredible for the amount of food you get. We usually order one of the 11,000-12,000WON (about 11-12 US) food choices and we end up leaving food. Don't tell my mom.

You can usually find these cases easily because there are tons of Koreans standing in front of them deciding what they want. This time we went doing the Lunar New Year and the whole store was pretty empty. It was the only reason I was able to get a good picture of some of the cases.

That is the one thing I really loved about Japan is all the restaurants always had plastic food somewhere so you could just point and order. Such a simple thing and I really wonder why we don't do that here.

I agree! It really lets you know what you are getting. I remember the old days when K-Mart had a little restaurant in the back of the store.
